The owners asked us to provide a complete budget proposal as part of their tender for new management. We were able to provide a complete budget overhaul and sourced new contractors for the majority of block maintenance.
As part of the process we revealed that the previous agent had let the Freeholder place the block insurance despite the fact they were a Right to Manage Company (it’s often overlooked but the right to manage also secures the right to insure) and as a result we have saved them approximately £3500 a year on insurance.
