Dilber Karagoz
Dilber Karagoz Senior Client Relationship manager
Dilber has recently been promoted to a position working alongside Richard, one of our Directors, after three glorious years in our Property Management team. During this time, she demonstrated a strong customer focus that made her a great fit for her new position, which has been created to add value to key client relationships and ensure new clients have a smooth transition. Dilber has halved her bodyweight in the last 5 years.

Kellie Connell

Kellie has worked in the industry for 10 years, progressing from property manager to key client manager and finally head of client care for Warwick Estates. Before property, she worked as a production assistant for a film company. She joined HAUS in 2021, in a similar position to her previous role with Warwick. Kellie looks forward to continuing her career progression in property and outside of work enjoys football and travel. She holds the MIRPM qualification..

Edgaras Burba
Edgaras Burba Property Manager
Eddie has been with us for 5 years and we’re looking forward to supporting his plan to start a RICS qualification over the next 24 months. He has recently achieved his AIRPM qualification. He made the change to residential management from a career in residential agency and has a good feel for property. Eddie collects trainers but won’t admit to how many pairs he owns.

Another of our Senior Property Managers, Seb has also transitioned into the private sector from a long career working for huge social landlords. He has been with us for over 3 years and manages several of our largest properties. We’re all scared of him because he has a black belt in something dangerous sounding. He intends to start a RICS qualification next year and has a Degree in Housing Management.

Mez Patel

Mez has been with us for 9 years, initially joining on a business apprenticeship scheme. A bastion of great service, Mez is consistently loved by her clients. She is the undisputed grandmaster of unflappability, keeps chickens, and was once chased through the jungle by a gibbon.

Pawan Garung
Pawan GarungProperty Manager
With seven years in property and three as a property manager, Pawan’s aim is ultimately to become a MRICS residential surveyor. He enjoys investigating issues for his leaseholder clients, who appreciate his communication skills and honesty. An event promoter in his earlier career, Pawan enjoys hiking in his spare time. He holds a BA in Business and a post-graduate diploma in real estate.

Chris Edwards
Chris EdwardsSenior Property Manager
Chris joined Haus as a Senior Block Manager in 2020 following three years in property management and 17 years in retail operations management. His standout project to date has been looking after a 27-storey, 204-flat tower in East London. He believes the key to good property management is making sure clients know you’re working in their interest, so you can build trust in the relationship. Chris is AIRPM-qualified and looking forward to building his career in property management. Out of hours, he’s a family man and a keen gardener.
Chris Hollis-Browne
Chris Hollis-BrowneSenior Property Manager
Chris has a total of 11 years’ experience as a property manager, during which time he has managed a wide range of properties, including a 121-unit development divided into residential apartments and freehold houses. He likes that fact that his role at HAUS enables him to make a genuine difference, and treats the developments he manages as if he lived there. Before his property career, Chris worked as a police officer in London. He holds the MIRPM and AssocRICS qualifications and referees youth football in his spare time.

Gavin Betty
Gavin BettySenior Property Manager
Gavin has over 20 years’ experience in residential management and joins us from a position as Associate Director for a competitor. As you would expect from someone whose entire career has been spent in the sector, Gavin brings the benefit of tremendous experience to his clients and manages several high-profile buildings for us. A keen motorcyclist, in his spare time Gavin likes to give blood, something which to date he has done several hundred times. He holds a Guinness World Record for abseiling

Chris Povoas
Chris PovoasSenior Property Manager
Senior Property Manager Chris joined HAUS in 2022 following a career that began in residential property management. He has worked in block management for the past nine years, most recently as a senior property manager for a large UK-wide management company. Chris’s experience includes large, complex residential sites in west and central London. He is particularly proud of his work in retaining a prestigious client and reducing its service charge arrears from £1m to just £65k during his tenure as senior property manager. Chris has COSH, IOSH and Foundation IRPM qualifications – and with a proactive and transparent approach to his work, he is looking to keep progressing in the industry. He’s also a fitness enthusiast with a keen interest in travel.
Venice Alaran
Venice AlaranProperty Manager
With a seven-year track record in the property industry, Venice joined HAUS in 2022 as a Property Manager. Her previous role was as a block manager for an estate agency, looking after a range of properties from luxury flats in a gated development to a large 163-unit portfolio. Venice likes the challenges of property management and enjoys the positive feedback from leaseholders and tenants that results from a job well done. Well-organised and a good communicator, she is looking forward to progressing in her role. Venice has an NVQ in Business Administration and a Level 2 qualification in Leasehold Management. She enjoys meeting new people and spending quality time with family.
Lyall Rudman

Lyall has been with us for nearly three years and over this time has developed into one of our strongest Assistant Property Managers. First one in, last one out, Lyall is a petrolhead and has a guinea pig called Pumpkin.

Elmarie Austin
Elmarie Austin Training Manager
Elmarie has been with us for over 5 years and has been promoted to a position as our training manager. She makes sure our teams use their software platforms to their fullest potential and drives customer-focused training initiatives. She is friends with someone whose cousin once dated Amy Lee from the band Evanescence and she met the band members backstage at a Seether concert. She has been in property manager for nearly 18 years and worked in asset management for an investment bank before joining us.

Pauline Hulley

Pauline has been with us for 7 years and after returning from maternity leave now manages a team of Assistant Property Managers. During her time as an assistant, Pauline was consistently amongst our best performers which is now reflected in her approach to running her team. Pauline does not like to answer questions for bios.

Sarah Paton

Sarah has been with us for over 5 years and has spent a total of 13 years in property management, during which time she has accumulated a great deal of expertise. As one of our most reliable Assistant Property Managers, she was promoted to a position as team leader and now looks after a team of 13 assistant property managers. She once had to help a leaseholder who was trapped on a roof at 6am on New Year’s day. She went on to marry the contractor who helped the guy down.

Bernie Leach

Bernie has worked property for four years and joined HAUS in 2019. Before his current role, he worked as a safety officer in window-cleaning, working for clients including Swiss Bank and British Telecom. Bernie enjoys the independence of his role at HAUS and his clients appreciate his helpful, get-the-job-done approach. He holds the IOSH and NEBOSH health and safety qualifications.

Assistant Property Manager Nicole loves every aspect of her work at HAUS – from her “awesome” co-workers to communicating with leaseholders and suppliers. In particular, she enjoys dealing with a high-end clientele and tackling the manage challenges of the City and North Mill development she works on. Clients appreciate the way she tackles situations and her determination in resolving issues.

Jadon Murray

Jadon supports Eddie and (we think) looks a bit like him. He has been with us for 2 years and joins from his family business. He studied Physiology and Exercise Science and like Eddie, does a lot of press-ups.

Assistant Property Manager Lizanne has worked in property for 10 years and been with us for 4. Before joining HAUS, was promoted to manage 30 residential properties for a lettings company. She holds a Diploma in Interior Decorating and Design and sees empathy and listening skills as key to success in her current role.

Her combination of determination, willpower and an easy manner help her to get things done fast while giving clients confidence. Kiara adores the “synergy” amongst her HAUS colleagues and the endless variety and new people she encounters in her job.

Anne Stiglingh

With a five-year track record in the industry, Assistant Property Manager Anne joined HAUS in 2021. Before HAUS she worked as a Property Portfolio Manager, looking after 41 buildings that were a mix of both residential and commercial blocks. Anne is passionate about her work and sees its most important role as being the first point of contact for her clients when any issues arise. Good communications skills and open-mindedness are the qualities that she sees as essential. Anne’s clients appreciate the friendliness and efficiency she brings to her role. Outside office hours she’s a podcaster, gamer and woodworker.

Laura-Louise Hale

Laura-Louise joined HAUS in 2021 as an Assistant Property Manager. Her six years’ experience in the industry in include working in property management on developments including the prestigious V&A Marina. Laura-Louise loves the fact that each day in her role brings new challenges and keeps her sharp, providing many opportunities to deploy her positivity, dedication and communications skills. Aiming to build her expertise in the field of property management, Laura-Louise has qualifications in Sectional Title Scheme Management and Home Owners’ Association Management. Beyond office hours, she enjoys Charity work, traveling, shopping and freshwater fishing.

Annamarie Steyn

Annamarie has been with us for 5 years and assists Luke on some of our flagship developments. She has a strong technical understanding of property componentry and generally manages buildings with complex plant and mechanical equipment. When asked to supply information for this bio, Annamarie was happy to volunteer that she has 12 toes.

Janine Ford

Assistant Property Manager Janine has over 6 years in the property industry and over 2 with us. She worked on small-scale property management and lettings before joining HAUS, where she has built knowledge in complex areas such as cladding and leak detection. Her most prestigious property is Hyde Park Garden in W2, where her customer focus is invaluable. Janine has a degree in Business Management from the University of Wales. Janine has looked after the dachshunds of the rich and famous and of course, she has a couple of her own, too.

Leoni Loots

With three years’ experience in the property industry, Leoni joined HAUS as an Assistant Property Manager in 2021, having previously worked for a maintenance administration company. She enjoys the teamwork and the client interaction in her current role at HAUS, and finds that she learns the most from client issues that are the most challenging. Leonie aims to ultimately develop into a more senior property management role. Beyond work, she enjoys making crafts with her children, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Sinazo (Naz) Dabula

Before joining HAUS in 2021, Naz worked as an Assistant Property Manager for six years, involved in managing properties including the prestigious Southbank Tower. She loves the flexibility provided in her role at HAUS, where she enjoys helping clients to the best of her abilities. Naz sees transparency and communication as the most important skills she brings to her role, and she constantly strives to be better at what she does. She has a certificate in tourism and enjoys travelling.

Melissa Africa
Melissa AfricaAssistant Property Manager
Melissa has worked as an Assistant Property Manager at HAUS for 6 out of her 11 years in the property industry. Before HAUS, she worked in a similar role for a London management agency. Key properties she works on include Skyline Plaza and Cityview. She enjoys the fact that every day at HAUS brings a new challenge, and that the HAUS team spirit provides great motivation. Clients find Melissa to be transparent and focused on resolving issues as soon as possible. Outside of work Melissa is an enthusiastic cook.
Robyn Baker
Robyn BakerAssistant Property Manager
Assistant Property Manger Robyn joined HAUS in 2021, building on her six-year track record in the property industry. Her experience includes managing her own property portfolio, dealing with sales and rentals and taking care of social media and marketing. Robyn was drawn to HAUS by its supportive, helpful culture and strong management and team spirit. Just a few months in, her listening and communications skills had already led to favourable reviews from HAUS clients. Robyn holds an NQF4 qualification in property and has taken a number of residential and commercial property courses. In her spare time she likes to indulge her love of music and the outdoors.

Lamees Kriel

Assistant Property Manager Lamees joined HAUS in 2021. She has a 12-year track record in the property industry, working in assistant portfolio manager roles where she looked after the day-to-day functioning of a wide range of properties. Lamees prides herself on her efficiency and relishes the fast and busy pace of the property management business. She is particularly conscious of the importance of good client communication, no matter how small the issue might be. Lamees has worked towards a LL.B and taken an extensive course in Sectional Title. Outside of work she likes to unwind with walks or a good book.
Matthew Turner
Matthew TurnerSupport Administrator
Matthew built up four years’ experience in property before joining HAUS as a Support Administrator. His previous roles included working in finance, and then transferring this skill to property, where he looked after the upkeep and day-to-day management of an estate. Matthew was attracted to HAUS by its positive culture, the wide variety of tasks his role involves, and the autonomy he is given on projects. This suits his hands-on approach and the pride he takes in getting positive outcomes with clients. Matthew has a Bcom Law and certificates in customer services and scheme management and sectional title. Beyond work, he’s a book collector, pianist and charity volunteer.

Luke Ker-Fox
Luke Ker-FoxSupport Administrator
Support Administrator Luke worked in the property industry for four years before joining HAUS in 2021. Having started his career with an internship in property management, he worked as a junior commercial property manager in the retail sector before taking up his current role. Luke’s experience includes several properties that were undergoing redevelopments. At HAUS he likes the range of opportunity and the fact that “we work for our clients and not just the bottom line.” Luke aims to progress towards managing his own projects and holds a BSc Hons in Construction Management and a BSc in Construction Studies. His interests outside work include astrophysics, board games and reading.

Vitor Simoes
Vitor SimoesSupport Administrator
Vitor joined HAUS as a Support Administrator in 2021 after working in the property industry for five years. His roles included working as office manager and then portfolio assistant, where his portfolio spanned 12 buildings, one of which comprised 1,200 units. He joined HAUS to expand his knowledge and experience in the industry, where his attention to detail and can-do attitude have proved highly effective with his clients. Aiming to excel in his current role, Vitor holds a BA in Psychology and Criminology, and a certificate in sectional title management. In his spare time he enjoys gaming, rooftop restaurants and cooking.

Jamie–Lee Jeptha

Before joining HAUS in 2021 as a Health and Safety Coordinator, Jamie-Lee worked in property for five years. Her most recently role was as a home loan finance consultant, where she found it rewarding to be involved in the process of arranging loans for people who were really in need of housing. Attracted to HAUS by the problem-solving aspects of her job, she works with a sense of humour, tenacity and a focus on getting the job done. Jamie-Lee is looking forward becoming an expert in her field at HAUS and finishing her degree. Having taken time out to travel around Africa, she enjoys mixing nature and being outdoors family life.
Yasaar Davis

Lettings Account Yasaar made her debut in the property industry when she joined HAUS in 2021. Before starting in property, she began her career as a receptionist before becoming a bookkeeper during a 15-year career with her previous employer. Yasaar chose HAUS not just for the career move but also the constant challenge and the friendly, helpful work environment. She brings extreme attention to detail to her role, combined with honesty and integrity. At HAUS she aims to build new skills and gain experience of managing a team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Credit Control team leader Jaco loves the fast pace and variety at HAUS. His proudest achievement in his 2 years with us is getting into his current role, where he focuses on resolving queries of any size. Major properties he works with include Hyde Park Gardens and Welbeck Mansions. He’s really into cleaning and cleaning products. But don’t let that worry you.

Michelle Schou
Michelle SchouClient Accountant
Michelle joined HAUS in 2021 as a Client Accountant. Before taking up her current position, she worked in the lift and escalator consulting sector, first as a bookkeeper, where she looked after the finance and management of commercial properties, and then as an office and finance manager. In this role she had sole responsibility for setting up financial systems at a new company. Michelle enjoys the challenge that every day brings at HAUS, applying her can-do attitude, sense of integrity and team-player skills to her role. She holds a wide range of academic and industry qualifications earned in both South Africa and New Zealand. She’s an outdoor enthusiast whose favourite hobby is showing dogs.

Megan Davis
Megan DavisAccounts Manager
Megan has been with us for 5 years and manages our Accounts Team. She has over 25 years’ accounts experience, 19 in the property management sector. As well as extensive practical experience gained over the course of her career, she also has a number of book-keeping qualifications. On top of managing our accounts team , Megan troubleshoots across the portfolio and also spends a significant portion of her time meeting with our clients. Megan told us her favourite film was Lord of the Rings and also confessed to reading a lot of fantasy books – yet insists she is not a nerd.

Lauren Stein

With 14 years’ experience in accounting and coming up for her first year with us, Accounts Administrator Lauren is a qualified technical financial accountant and was a finance manager in her previous role. She likes the fact that her role always brings new challenges and opportunities to push her (limitless) boundaries. Lauren is an avid Liverpool fan and always up for watching the Reds whenever she can.

Client Accountant Robert-Lee has worked in accounting for 15 years and the property industry for 5. His standout project to date has been working on costings and logistics for a major hotel development in Scotland. He holds an HND and a range of certificates in cost accounting and VAT. When he’s not pushing outdoor cooking to new heights, Robert-Lee is a rugby enthusiast with a passion for team stats.

Chanel Pon
Chanel Pon Client Accountant
With certificates in Bookkeeping, Financial Accounting and Excel, Chanel is a Client Accountant with 13 years’ experience in accounts, 8 of them in property. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Commerce in financial accounting. Chanel loves the HAUS team, the fact that every day brings new challenges and the problem-solving aspect of her work.

Jenny De Wit
Jenny De WitClient Accountant
Previously at KPMG and with 15 years in accounting, Client Accountant Jenny is still aiming to build her professional knowledge and development. Her most significant project to date has been setting up a company from scratch on the Pastel Accounting system. A brush with serious illness taught Jenny that life is short and led her to help out a local charity working with teenage children. In her day job she loves the fact that numbers don’t talk back (unlike teenagers) and she loves to get into data and detail.

Rene Baartman

At HAUS, where she’s worked for over 3 years, Rene loves hitting deadlines, working with numbers and helping sort problems out for clients in her role as Credit Controller. She aims to grow her accountancy skills and become a certified auditor. With 6 years’ experience in accounts, Rene already holds an accounting diploma, as well as qualifications in office administration and entrepreneurship.

Teresa Rudman
Teresa RudmanPortfolio Manager
Portfolio Manager Teresa has been with us for 4 years and loves the fact that at work, every day is new challenge and a learning opportunity. Teresa sees good service and “going the extra mile” as important attributes in her role. Her most significant project at HAUS is the Hyde Park Gardens development. Teresa also enjoys physical training, sewing and making things with cement – but not all at the same time.

Elmarie Engela
Elmarie Engela Client Accountant
Elmarie says she was most definitely a princess before she worked at HAUS and accountancy could not have been further from her mind. Shopping and making people laugh were what did it for her – but then she met accountancy. And fell in love. Seven years later, Elmarie still loves the constant challenge and variety and is always looking to acquire new skills. She has a Certificate in Bookkeeping and Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town and has set up financial accounting systems for companies as well as converting companies from manual financial processes.
Leanda Heunis
Leanda HeunisClient Accountant
Leanda is a Client Accountant at HAUS and has worked in the property industry for a year. Previously, she worked as a financial accountant at a SEC-listed company and spent 10 years at KPMG. Leanda brings strong mathematical and analytical skills developed during her 19 years’ experience in financial roles, where she has received awards for improving cost-saving and procurement processes. Her goal now is to build her knowledge of the property industry and settle in at HAUS, where she was attracted by the people and culture. Leanda holds a B.com Economics and a certificate for Accounting and Finance for Non-Financial Managers. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking and writing, and the occasional solo trip to India.

Kholelwa Tshomi
Kholelwa TshomiPortfolio Management Assistant
Portfolio Management Assistant Kholelwa is nearly three years into her career at HAUS, where she loves chasing solicitors for notices of transfer and making sure service charge calculations are spot-on. She has a Diploma in Financial Management and has worked on the Hyde Park Gardens development at HAUS. Outside work it’s all about cooking – either expertly doing it herself or watching the experts do it.

Felicia Nakin
Felicia Nakin Client Accountant
When it all balances at the end, working with numbers makes Accounts Receivable specialist Felicia feel like a genius. With 16 years’ experience in accounts, she holds certificates in bookkeeping and financial accounting. At HAUS for 2 years, she’s enjoying learning about property management and planning to add industry skills to her list of achievements (which also include social worker, netball player and self-proclaimed masterchef).

Nadia Almendro
Nadia AlmendroClient Accountant
For Client Account Nadia, HAUS is her first move into the property industry. Before joining the company, she was a senior bookkeeper at an innovative nanofibre spinning company. Her role involved working with scientists and developing a reusable face mask used by COVID testing staff. Nadia loves the people and culture at HAUS, where she focuses on delivering an efficient service and happy clients. Aiming to grow at a company she considers exceptional, Nadia holds an accounting qualification. She’s keen on learning new skills and spending time in the outdoors.

Tara Bazier

Tara is Purchase Ledger Team Leader. She has 10 years’ experience in accounting, 4 years with us, a certificate in bookkeeping and the extremely fast-moving hobby of building and racing cars. She loves making sure her team are equipped to succeed in a fast-paced environment, and she enjoys the clarity and commitment of working with numbers.

Nicole Zas Sanz

With us for 5 years, Assistant Accounts Manager Nicole has 13 years’ experience in accounting and in a previous role, managed to rebuild five years’ worth of missing financials to a challenging six-week deadline. Did Nicole work as a private investigator before joining HAUS? Perhaps we should hire her to find out. She likes the fact that her current job is never boring and every day is a learning experience.

With a 29-year track record in accounts, Nabilah has a certificate in bookkeeping as well as leadership and management. In her Purchase Ledger work she enjoys the accuracy that’s essential in her profession – and she loves working in a supportive team.

Purchase Ledger Assistant Davida is looking forward to learning more and more about her profession as she progresses at HAUS. She has 4 years’ experience in accounts and previously helped to streamline the accounting process for a cement company. Davida loves to talk and share everything she knows with everyone she meets. Which is great, because she knows plenty – and uses her knowledge to find new solutions at work every day.

Project Manager Russell’s property career spans 17 years, 3 of which he’s spent with us. In his role he enjoys the variety and the fact that every day brings something new. And he likes a challenge: his biggest to date has been transferring his team’s entire portfolio over to a new management system. Russell has a client-first attitude and holds a Diploma in Programming. And he’s into movies, karate and golf.

Genavieve Williams
Genavieve Williams Projects Co-Ordinator
Project Co-ordinator Genavieve likes the diversity in her work, where the HAUS team feels like a family. She rapidly learned and took over the subletting process at one of our blocks, helping it to succeed – and has been part of the team that has set up the new HAUS portal. With a caring and empathic approach to clients, Genavieve is looking forward to building up her experience to pursue a degree in project management.

Compliance Officer Laurien has worked in property for over 5 years. Before joining HAUS in 2019, she worked as an associate attorney in a conveyancing firm. Laurien enjoys the challenges of her role and is proactive and thorough in her interactions with clients. With an LLB (law) from Stellenbosch University, Laurien is qualified as an Admitted Attorney. At HAUS she is looking forward to building her career with the area of compliance. In her spare time, Laurien is currently trying out bouldering and rock climbing.

Alick Lawrence
Alick LawrenceHead of Major Works
Alick’s career in surveying started over three decades ago, with work experience at a surveying company. After qualifying as a surveyor in 1994, he joined Haus in 2021, after over nine years in property management. Alick enjoys the personal contact that his job involves, along with the challenge of assessing the issues that need resolving in buildings. To make the most of his surveying expertise, he enjoys developing newcomers in the property profession. A mountain biker and former paintball marshal, Alick is a Chartered Surveyor with a degree in Building Surveying

Katerina Kaplanova
Katerina Kaplanova Project Manager
Project Manager Katerina brings 13 years of in-depth property industry experience to HAUS. From drain problems to major works projects, she’s managed almost every type and size of building issue during her career. She has also worked closely with developers and worked on many Section 20 (major works) projects. At HAUS, Katerina will be specialising in EWS1 (external wall system safety) projects, which are of great importance to leaseholders today. AIRPM-qualified, Katerina relishes the satisfaction of seeing projects through from start to finish. Outside of work she likes to hike – and in a previous life she worked as a builder for a year.

Ashley works with Paul, our Head of Major Works. She runs the administrative side of all of our major works processes and is a self-confessed true crime addict. Highly organised and a fastidious user of systems, Ashley consistently contributes to the positive reviews on our Trustpilot account.

Jonathan Kill
Jonathan KillBuilding Surveyor
Jonathan joined HAUS in 2021 after working a graduate surveyor at a construction consultancy. With three years’ experience in property, most recently he worked as contract administrator for an extensive fire refurbishment project on behalf of a housing association. Jonathan is particularly motivated by the prospect of playing a role in the safe removal and remediation of dangerous cladding systems. He likes the fact that the property industry is constantly adapting and presenting new opportunities for people to learn and grow. Aiming to qualify as a chartered building surveyor, Jonathan has a first-class degree in building surveying from the University of Portsmouth. In his spare time, he’s a kickboxer and runner.

Matt Harrison

Before joining HAUS in 2021 Matt worked as a building surveyor for private practice firm specialising in residential building. He gained his postgraduate diploma in building surveying in 2020 after working as a commercial maintenance and property manager. Motivated by a passion for buildings, he enjoys the constant variety in his role and always likes to take time on site to discover everything he can about it. It’s no surprise, then, that Matt’s clients appreciate his thoroughness as well as his skill in explaining technical detail in plain English. In his spare time Matt is a keen sportsperson who enjoys sprinting, running and football.
